Stapleton Pools

There are four fabulous pools in Stapleton dispersed throughout the neighborhood. Named Denvers Best Public Swimming Pools by Westword, Stapleton’s pools have a plethora of aquatic activities and one-of-a-kind water features that have been individually designed for a different audience.

 

Aviator Pool
8054 E. 28th in the 29th Avenue Neighborhood
	The Aviator Pool is Stapleton’s first pool and the only pool with a diving well. It includes lap lanes and is home to the Stapleton Sting Rays swim team.
Puddle Jumper
2401 Xenia Street in South End
	This pool was designed with tots in mind and is a favorite for young swimmers. It has a zero entry which means that your little ones can walk out as far as they want without having to swim. It also includes lots of fountains and geysers which makes it fun for adults too.
F-15 Pool
2831 Hanover in Eastbridge
	This is my favorite pool in Stapleton and geared a little bit more towards adults. While every pool has a kid friendly element, this pool has great grassy areas, shade and lap lanes which us adults love. And yes, you are allowed to bring in cans of beer – no glass though!
Jet Stream Pool
3574 Alton Street in Central Park North
	This pool will be opening in June of 2011.

All of the pools have concessions stands, shower facilities, BBQ’s, grassy areas for picnicking and chairs and tables.

Have a birthday party at any one of the pools with four outdoor areas available at each facility.  The outdoor areas are conveniently located for optimum access, entertaining and fun.

The Stapleton MCA offers a variety of swimming lessons at both the Aviator Pool and F-15 pool. From Parent Tot lessons to Stroke Improvements lessons to Springboard Diving there are lessons to accommodate all ages and abilities. The lessons are taught using the American Red Cross standards and allows students to progress at their own pace. In addition to kids swim lessons, adults can condition in the water too. From lap swim to water fitness to poolside yoga, there’s something for everyone including your pooches. At the end of the season, Stapleton dogs can jump in the pools and cool off. The event is called Dog Daze at the Pool and is an event that is not to be missed.
