Since tracking Stapleton real estate trends in 2007, you will see from the graph below that Stapleton was not impervious to the downturn of the economy. 2007 and 2008 were both stellar years as far as Average Home Price Appreciation but there was a huge dip in 2009 in home prices. By the end of 2010 though, you will see an upturn in Stapleton Average Home prices. This is most likely is due to low interest rates and the $8,000 home buyer tax credit at the beginning of 2010. These statistics are based on Denver MLS statistics for Residential Home Sales and do not reflect condo sales or new home sales unless their sold information was listed in MLS.
